Up and Down

This & next:  storm clouds over the mountains
We decided after a short forest bushwhack this morning to return to the low desert today.  We packed up and left about 11:00 a.m.  Clouds were already building over the mountains, and we didn't look forward to another afternoon of heavy rain.

Of course we had to deal with the temperature disparity between high and low country, which is at least twenty degrees.  We're supposed to hit 101F down here this afternoon.
