Better Light Day

Ocotillos on a ridge
It was hot and humid this morning when Dr. K, Willow and I took our daily trek.  Temperatures are supposed to rise even higher in coming days.  We saw the Pickup-Truck-Lady and her dog trudging east up the Tellbrook Arroyo as we were descending LDR-A arroyo.  They headed up the left branch arroyo ahead of us, which, of course, set Willow off on her dog-paw tracking mode; she had nose to the ground all the way up to the middle branch arroyo.  As we were driving home I spotted an American Kestrel which I attempted to photograph both inside and outside of the CR-V.  Crap photos all.
