Cold, Short Hike


The wind chill was 21 degrees this morning on the west side of Tortugas, and the conditions felt pretty raw. Research Associate Becca and I did a short hike. Here's a photo of the new observatory from below.

This photo of the observatory from above was taken yesterday.

I took this shot because it clearly reveals one of the roots of a Soaptree Yucca.
