
The weather channel indicated it was 37 degrees this morning when Research Associate and Becca and I left for the Monte Vista side of Tortugas Mountain, but when we started hiking it felt more like 73 degrees. We're supposed to top off at 67. Here's a nice panoramic shot that gives an idea of the weather.

You wouldn't know it from this pic, but the Pinto has a bad case of the runs; we're waiting for lab results from the vet to see if she's got giardia.
