Nearly Midday Hike

A trail through the Creosote

Got a late start because of a dental appointment.  Midday in the desert in winter the shadows are still long.  We dropped down to 10 F. this morning, so it was still surprisingly chilly around noon.  A few cars were parked in the lot at the Sunset trail head, but we didn't seen any hikers.
