The western slope of Tortugas Mountain |
It was very windy this morning, and the wind has stayed throughout the day. When you're warm hiking, the wind is often a great evaporative cooling device. But when it batters the house the rest of the day it becomes a true irritant. I find that a persistent wind with high gusts sometimes makes me feel a little on edge.

I always hated the wind in Prescott, in March and April. After 6 weeks, I would start going crazy!
