Labor Day Trek

The far horizon
The last day of the long Labor Day weekend saw quite a few outdoor enthusiasts on the mountain.  One gun looney was also out popping off rounds.  Fortunately he didn't stay long.  The cold front that blew through last night significantly lowered the temperature, and at times--when the wind was high and the cloud cover thick--it actually felt chilly.  What a relief to be six or seven degrees below normal rather than above normal.
