Good Good Friday

Mormon Tea in bloom
Dr. K, Becca and I had a great trek on the Bridal Veil Falls Trail this morning even though we encountered a group of ten or twelve hikers just after we left the falls.  They were friendly people with three friendly dogs, and they were the only outdoor enthusiasts we saw on a 2 1/2-hour hike.  The air was perfumed by the sweet scent of Fragrant Ash much of the way because the tree is blooming everywhere along the trail and down into the canyon.  It looked very much like spring at the 6500 to 6800-foot elevation today.

Fragrant Ash is in bloom all along the trail

They're called Chocolate Daisies because they smell like chocolate
