Low Water Pressure

Old railroad trestle across the creek
Dr. K, Becca and I hit the Bridal Veil Falls Trail at about 8:55 a.m. when nobody else was around.  We made it almost all the way to the falls before we ran into a woman and a young man hiking the opposite way.  Due to our continued drought it was quite dismaying to see how little water was falling over the cliff; it couldn't be called a "trickle," but it looked pretty pathetic.  We spent about 2 1/2 hours trekking and photographing, and during that entire time we ran into only 8 people--not bad for a Saturday morning.

I wanted to try the image in color and . . .

So I did it again (color, naturally)

There were a lot of crazy clouds on this hike, Packrat, as you said. Beautiful photos. A great way to spend a Saturday.
