| First 3:  Desert Spiny Lizard |
We trekked up to Second Arroyo, entered and found a shady spot to stop for water. Then we exited the arroyo and made our way back to the upper flatland where we'd parked the CR-V.
We had fairly close encounters with two Black-tailed Jackrabbits, but not near enough to spark the Heelers into pursuit mode.  I was happy about their reactions.  Didn't see any humans nor other critters on our exploration today.

Good photos of the Desert Spiny Lizard. It looks like it's doing push-ups.
