Absence of Rain

White-winged Dove
It was somewhat hot and humid this morning for our daily trek, but the absence of clouds signaled the absence of rain, a rare occurrence of late.

We did our usual trek, suffering through the usual slings and arrows:  Heelers pulling on leads, bugs bugging us, constantly on the look out for snakes.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed getting our exercise in on this Thursday in the desert.
