No. 402

Double rainbow early evening yesterday

Yesterday morning Daryl from the Bug Guy scattered granules and sprayed Alpine on our property to kill ants, and then it poured like crazy in the early evening.

The results of the downpour were evident in the desert this morning on our hike; rainwater obviously had flowed through the arroyos, bugs were swarming, and the humidity was ultra high.

One positive sign from today's hike involved the illegally dumped material that I've reported several times.  The county codes department had been out to the site and sprayed the number 402 on the concrete block remnants which we determined were part of a knocked-down rock wall.

Evidence that rainwater ran down this arroyo yesterday
