2.66 Inches Later

Raindrops on juniper
We sure were happy to see a change of weather this morning after an all-day rain yesterday.  We were able to get the Heelers out for a short hike in the forest behind the cabin, which felt good after being cooped up all day.

According to my weather app the highest chance for rain this afternoon/evening is 15%; here's hoping it's even lower than that.  According to our rain gauge we got 2.66 inches yesterday, and we certainly don't need more right now.

Beautiful scenery. I also like the photo of the purplish Juniper berries.
