Morning moon |
About halfway through the hike a small breeze picked up, bringing some relief. We made several shade and water breaks along the way.
Two-thirds of the way through our outing the breeze turned into a light wind, which went a long way in giving us respite from the uncomfortable heat and humidity. Nobody was complaining when, after the hike, we hopped into the CR-V for an air-conditioned ride home.
