Another Annular Eclipse

Soaptree Yucca
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I were still out hiking when the annular eclipse began at 9:13 a.m., but we didn't really get to see anything of interest until later, at home, when I used a pinhole projector to display the image on a sheet of white paper.

The morning grew noticeably darker and cooler during the passage of the lunar penumbra, and the image we projected looked to reach about 85% of solar coverage.  It was an interesting experience that neither Heeler seemed to appreciate.
