Thursday's Wind

1st 3:  studies in Prickly Pear
When we started our hike this morning the wind promised to keep conditions cool, but as soon as we descended LDR-A arroyo and turned into the sheltered area along the east/west cross trail and the left branch arroyo it subsided.  Of course, the temperature seemed as if it rose suddenly.

We didn't pick the wind up again until we were climbing out of the right branch to reach the crest of the hill to the west.  Even then the temperature still felt pretty high.

Good trek today nevertheless.
