A Wednesday Trek

Soaptree Yucca in the left branch arroyo
We did our usual hike this morning with no additional distance due to Frio's condition; he was noticeably slower today.  Vet put him on Terbinafine (another antifungal medication) to see if it, in combination with Itraconazole, will have a synergistic, broad-spectrum result.  We're praying for a miracle.

On the drive to the trailhead we saw the Basset people and their hounds on the road south of Tellbrook, and they appeared to be crossing over to either LDR or LDR-A, but we never spotted them again.

The weather was warm and quite comfortable, but the wind is supposed to become strong later today; weather forecast called for blowing dust.  Yipee!
