Thursday's Usual Trek

Javelinas at work
We followed our usual route this morning:  down LDR-A to the junction with the LDR-A arroyo, down the arroyo to the east/west cross trail, east to the left branch arroyo, up the left, down the middle and, eventually, up the right branch and out over the steep hill to the west.  The weather was quite pleasant for an outing.

We monitored Frio's energy level all during the hike; he's definitely lost a step or two.  I take him to El Paso tomorrow for an early consultation with a vet down there.
