Mr. Frio is quite the enigma. Yesterday afternoon he was acting like he was ready to buy the farm; this morning on our hike he briefly chased a jackrabbit.

Taking him to the vet this afternoon for an exam; he was supposed to be undergoing several procedures with Dr. Silverman in El Paso this morning, but I cancelled because I was afraid he'd never emerge from the anesthesia administered to put him deeply under for the procedures. Dr. Silverman agreed that it probably was better to avoid that scenario.
I've asked Dr. Gray--our vet--to give us a prescription for terbinafine (an antifunal med) to be used in conjunction with the itraconazole he's already taking.
