Tuesday Trekking

Prickly Pear pad sprouting ears

Again--due to a steady breeze--it didn't feel too bad out there this morning even though it was hot and humid.

We followed our usual route:  down LDR-A arroyo, toward the Organ Mountains on the east/west cross trail, up the left branch arroyo, down the middle branch, up and out of the right branch over the steep hill to the west.

We saw four or five Black-tailed Jackrabbits out and about today, but few other desert denizens.
