A Shorter Version

Just getting started

We shortened our usual hike this morning for several reasons:  first somebody twice fired a gun whose retorts suggested the shooter wasn't too far away; and, second, Dr. K had to go shopping at Target and didn't want to get too late a start.

Willow didn't seem at all upset by the change of plans.  She acted a bit spooked--perhaps by the gunshots--and had no problem with us shortening the outing by about 15 to 20 minutes.
