Abbreviated Outing

The weather was raw this morning, so Research Associate Becca and I took a short hike. Here's how the day looked starting off.

The Organ Mountains are out there somewhere.

This orange mark on the rock was put there by somebody who needed to blaze the course for a mountain bike race. It's been there for over three weeks; I hope it will fade.

The clouds were lifting over the mountains to the north.
