Sunny, But Cold


It was 28 degrees when Research Associate Becca and I set off on the sunset side of Tortugas Mountain this morning, and the windchill made it feel even colder. This cactus, however, appeared to be enjoying the desert sun.

We had a bad windstorm recently, and this giant yucca must have toppled over then.
