We did a long hike starting on the Monte Vista side of Tortugas Mountain this morning, which took us around the south side and over to the west side. The day was chilly, but sunny and bright. I liked the looks of the yellow grass contrasted against the blue sky in this shot.
The rocky texture of this photo is appealing.
Here's a Loggerhead Shrike that's about the size of a plump robin.
That is not black paint spilled on Becca's right side.
