West Side Rambling


A beautiful day in the desert found Research Associate Becca and I rambling around the west side of Tortugas Mountain. Obviously, these jets like this side of the mountain, too.

All of the ocotillos are bare again.

Bosom buddies: ocotillo and yucca.

Gravity will soon take its toll on this soaptree yucca.
