Like Spring in the Mountains

Something's in the air
We did the Osha Trail outside of Cloudcroft, New Mexico this morning.  The weather was spring-like.  A good bit of the trail was covered in snow and ice, but the going wasn't too treacherous.  We ran into only two other hikers right at the end of our hike--an Asian man and woman who asked, in faltering English, whether we'd done the whole hike.  They were worried about distance, but we assured them they'd have no trouble negotiating the hike.
Which way do we go?

Self-explanatory
