The Wind is Coming

Rough-and-Ready girl
We beat the wind this morning by getting in a very early hike.  We saw a few other hikers with dogs, but didn't pass close to any.  Several times Becca fought the urge to chase Jackrabbits, her favorite pasttime as an adolescent.  She'd do it now, too, only she's worried about getting chastised (read "being spoken to firmly").  I've been training her 24/7 for over three years now.  A bit of it is starting to stick.  What can you expect of a Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix?
