When my wife and i visited Acoma Pueblo in March 2008, the wind was also blowing up a fierce dust storm. Naturally, my wife had left her glasses back at our hotel in Albuquerque and had to deal with grit under her contact lenses. She'll never make that mistake again!

When Becca doesn't enjoy the hike, you know it's bad.

When we went to Santa Rosa Island this summer the wind was gusting from 10-30 pretty much nonstop.
I found myself sobbing in my tent. I'm not kidding.
Alex destroyed his tent from sheer frustration and cursed me repeatedly for dragging him there.
Regina and Nicole pretended it wasn't bothering them at all. "Come on, you wimps! Let's go for a hike!"
A fellow camper locked down in his tent drinking and singing Minnie Ripperton songs.
What a hell.
