After the Hump

Half the time there was a moderating breeze this morning, just strong enough to act as an evaporative cooling device in the hot desert clime.  The other 50% of the time the breeze disappeared, forcing beads of sweat to form on one's forehead.  Not on Becca's forehead, though, as she does all her sweating through the pads on her feet.  I've often wondered--since dogs regulate heat through panting--whether canines can feel a cooling breeze on their tongues.
