Fast, Hot Hike

Another hot day is on the way, so the Beckster and I got off to an early start.  Somebody with "gun derangement syndrome" was out there shooting what was obviously an automatic weapon.  Even though he (I say "he" because not many women suffer from the syndrome) wasn't close to us, it's still unnerving to hear some lunatic shooting as if there's no tomorrow.
