Hot and Hazy

We ran into Jimmy midway on our long hike this morning, and we stood talking about global climate change for a bit while Becca lay in the shade of a creosote bush.  I'd been listening to KPOJ (Portland radio) earlier, and the climate change expert on the show was painting a pretty bleak scenario about hopes for a remedy.  After Jimmy and I talked about the world's lack of determination to do anything significant about the situation we parted company, each more depressed than before.
