What good weather will do on a Saturday morning is attract a whole bunch of people out to the Sunset Parking area at Tortugas Mountain. That's certainly what happened this morning. When Becca and I got out to the trailhead we could not believe the number of cars in the lot. Most of the hikers appeared to be heading for the top of the mountain, but we ran into a few out around the mountain. When we bumped into JC and Shaque, JC said they'd already encountered four people. It's nice to see people enjoying nature; I just wish they would do it somewhere else. :)

This is one of my favourite photos of Becca. She looks so wise and noble. Me and Paul, my husband, are just looking at all your pictures and were feeling very envious of your dry weather until I converted farenheit to celsius! Brrrrrr!
I'm glad you and Paul are enjoying the photos, Liz. Today (Feb. 9th) we're headed for 70 F. That's 21.1 C.
