Low Country to High

Where trails cross
Becca and I did a short hike in the low desert this morning before heading up into the Sacramento Mountains to High Rolls/Mountain Park.  We got here before noon.  It snowed in the high country during the week, and we still had a little on our property.  The bright sunshine we've had the past few days has melted snow and ice, which equals some muddy conditions.  Even with a small mud room it's a constant battle to keep muddy paws and muddy feet from tracking slop into the house.

Someone's coming that way

Or is it this way?

Heckle and Jeckle

I count six balloons

Two of them

Remnants of snow in the high country

Who's staring at me through the window?

I love the photo of Heckle and Jeckle on either side of the yucca.
