Far Side on Saturday

Filing up the mountain
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I headed for the far side of Tortugas Mountain for a morning trek today, and the weather was mostly overcast throughout our outing.  We saw a few other outdoor enthusiast on starting, but we didn't run into anybody.

Both Frio and Willow were filled with energy from the beginning, and their stamina didn't wane in the least during a long hike.  In fact, as soon as we got home they headed into the backyard for some playtime.

Dr. K and I feel very lucky to have these two Heelers for companions.  They're endlessly entertaining, and it's quite touching to see how much they care for each other already.  If we didn't know better we'd swear they're litter mates.
