After Rain Trek

Heading up the second arroyo
Although humid, it was cool enough to take our normal "longer" trek this morning; Frio and Willow seemed fine with the added distance.

We hiked up to the second arroyo, took an eastward turn into it and had a slightly extended shade and water break, after which I explored and snapped a few photos.

It felt a little bit hotter on our way back to the CR-V, primarily because the steady breeze that had accompanied us on the outbound leg had disappeared.

All in all, though, we enjoyed a fairly pleasant trek devoid of any encounters with other outdoor enthusiasts.
