Hot Desert Wind

1st 2:  Black-tailed Jackrabbit
There wasn't even a hint of coolness in the air this morning, and, at 82F, the persistently strong wind felt something like a sustained gust from a blast furnace.

Dr. K described the trek as a "slog," and it certainly was that; not much enjoyment in following our usual route today.

After the outing we drove over to our local Circle K to gas up; unleaded now at $3.99 per gallon.  $37:45 for three-fourths of a tank.
