Willow, Frio and I (Dr. K was shopping) were in no mood to linger in the desert this morning; we were all about the business of getting in a hike before the day heated up even more than it had.  There was a breeze, but its cooling effect was counteracted by higher humidity.

We followed our normal route stopping in shade for water and a brief respite before pushing on.  All of us were glad to reach the waiting CR-V at the end of the trek.

So what did I do when we got home?  I began to remove the honeysuckle vine growing on the northern wall of our house.  I got it about half down before giving up.
