Friday's Reg

Hill west of the Organs
45F isn't cold, but when you get out into a stiff breeze it can feel quite uncomfortable; that's what happened to us this morning when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I hit the trail.

We did get out of the wind by the time we entered the left branch arroyo, and we didn't really experience it again until we were all the way up into the right branch and, eventually, atop the steep hill to the west.

All in all we had a good hike today; especially rewarding was the excellent behavior of the cattle dogs.
