Off-Trail Trek

Soaptrees near and far
After an extended period of bushwhacking when we returned to the left branch arroyo to resume our normal hike Dr. K said, "That was a nice off-trail trek."  It was.  We explored areas we'd not been in before.

When we were starting off on LDR-A earlier we saw the Basset lady and her hounds down near the Tellbrook Arroyo.  Willow wanted to pursue, but it was a good thing she was still on lead.

I let both mad heelers off leash when we got into the LDR-A arroyo, and they were well behaved for the duration of our outing.
