Rocky Start

I'm just joking when I say we got off to a rocky start this morning; I'm simply referring to this first photo on the saddle above the trail head on the west side of Tortugas Mountain.
Here's a tiny yucca forest still in shadow on the flank of the mountain.
Research Associate Becca says, "Nothing's stopping me now."
The only clouds in the sky this morning.

I wish that college students who party in the desert would respect the landscape enough to pick up their trash.
