One of the first things we saw on the trail this morning was this military helicopter flying parallel to I-25.
This cluster of plants--ocotillos, yuccas and creosote bushes--was just begging for a group photo.
Fortunately for Research Associate Becca we ran into one of her favorite pals, Samantha. "Sam" is such a calm, soulful creature that I hope some of her rubs off on Becca.
