
On the east side of Tortugas Mountain, Dr. K, Research Associate Becca and I did some hiking in the major arroyo. The sandy bottom allows the curious researcher to take note of interesting animal tracks.

These look like rabbit footprints on the far left; not sure to whom the others belong.

This critter was making fast tracks before she collapsed in exhaustion.

This dried-flower bouquet was just too pretty to pass up for a photo op.
