
Another cold front is blowing through this morning, and while Research Associate Becca and I were on the Monte Vista side of Tortugas Mountain the temperature dropped by about ten degrees. Fast-moving clouds aloft signalled the advent of the low-pressure system.

There were some curious cloud configurations over the Organ Mountains.

The shapes of the clouds indicate the wind shear.

Cloud shadows made for some interesting shadow-and-light scenes.
