Yesterday it rained for hours and hours--into and through the night as well. When Becca and I started out around Tortugas this morning it was still sprinkling, so I didn't take my camera. In the afternoon we took a drive out toward the Organ Mountains to take some photos of the snow. It was a beautiful, dynamic afternoon in the still chilly Chihuahuan Desert.

You've outdone yourself, Packrat.
One can almost hear the silence, feel cool air caress cheecks, relish the majesty of creation.
Almost like the Tetons!
