Wind!

The temperature was moderate enough as Dr. K, Becca and I hiked the trails around Tortugas Mountain, but the wind made it feel much colder.  It was a persistent wind, lasting throughout the entire trek.  There was lots of dust in the air, and few hikers out enjoying the elements.  The only outdoor enthusiasts were those like us--hardcore naturalists.

After being indoors so long because of my cold, it was nice to take a hike, despite the wind.
