Those photos of the ruby-throated hummingbird are great.
I'm partial to the Horned Lizard, Packrat. I've only ever seen one in my peregrinations in the West--hiking at Canyonlands National Park. Thanks for sharing.
Packrat: Have you ever stayed at the lodge at Cloudcroft, or is it mostly a golf resort? From your images, it looks like an interesting and sorta' funky place to stay. Is it pricey?
Scott: I've never stayed at The Lodge, but it's not just a golf resort. It gets very mixed reviews. Everybody loves the setting, but some complain about worn-out pillows and beds with valleys in them. We've eaten in the restaurant; food is good, service poor.
