Here Comes the Sun

Trail from the Sunset Parking area
The sun has made a brief appearance in the northern Chihuahuan Desert, but it won't last long.  Another storm system (via California and Arizona) will be pushing through our area late this afternoon and into the evening.  Meteorologists have forecasted rain and even light snow.  Let's hope the snow is light; we're just recovering from our recent big snowstorm, which, at the local airport, measured one foot of the white stuff.  We had at least 8" here at the ranch.
