The Dog Blog

Sun is about to rise behind this yucca
I almost named the post today "When Henry met Becca" due to an encounter we had with a guy and his dog in the high foothills.  It was a friendly encounter, though Henry--much younger than Becca--was a bit exuberant.  He was a rescue dog, the guy said, and he wasn't sure what mix of breeds.  I said I thought Henry had some Rhodesian Ridgeback in him because of the way his hackles raised along his spine.  We've run into several Ridgebacks around the mountain, and they're really beautiful dogs.
