Already Back in the Saddle

This and the next:  Soaptree Yucca just off the long dirt road
Good thing Dr. K accompanied the Heelers and me on our morning trek today; I could not have handled Willow, who was particularly spunky out there, especially in her mad compulsion to eat grass.  My right rib cage was giving me too much grief to handle our little female Heeler without further pain.  It was bad enough controlling Frio with my left hand.

We started off from the dirt pullout off Tellbrook, hiked the long dirt road to the "new" arroyo--which Dr. K hadn't yet explored--and then turned around upon reaching the section that would have required bushwhacking.

This morning we crossed paths with three women hikers and an archer--the same guy I had bumped into a few days ago.  Although we shortened our morning outing it felt good to get onto the trail and get my body into motion after taking yesterday off.
