Hot Days Ahead

Headed down LDR-A early this morning
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I got an early start this Wednesday morning on a trek up to Second Arroyo and back; the reason we got off so early is that it's going to be plenty hot here today:  weather app says 105F.

Almost as soon as we set off on LDR-A Mr. Frio had a BM while a man and woman hiking together crested the steep ridge of LDR, both bearing witness to Frio's fecal discharge.  To add insult to injury he began barking at them while Willow whined and whimpered to get their attention.  I apologized to them for our canines' errant behavior.

The only other person we saw out there was the elderly two-hiking-stick woman who was heading north on LDR as we were heading south.  We exchanged greetings while going separate ways.  All four of us were glad to reach Whitey the CR-V, piling in and luxuriating in the air conditioned air on the short ride home.
